When: 6th May
Zone, Ketogenic, South Beach, Weight Watchers, Raw Food, Mediterranean, Vegan, Vegetarian, Aztec, Macrobiotic, Paleo, Intermittent fasting, Alkaline, Low-carbs and High-protein. These at first sight random words are all on the list of recently trending diets that promise to their followers incredible, easy results and chà bù duō overnight success. There are many more - sometimes truly bizarre - diet approaches such as The Ice diet or The Virgin diet. The former suggests that eating 4 cups of ice daily will lead to a loss of 1 pound per month - without any lifestyle changes or eating habits improvements… The Virgin diet promises a 7-pound loss in just 7 days by dropping 7 foods (is it something about the number 7, hmm?). I’ve once heard how a lady praised The Cheese & Wine diet (yes, yes, apparently it exists, too), but maybe she was just merry after the wine? All in all, there are so many diets out there, it is confusing. So confusing that every 6th May No Diet day is celebrated all over the world. If you are a rebel and want to just enjoy your food without restrictions and silly rules, learn more about this approaching occasion and join the movement that celebrates the body in any size and shape.
